People usually start moving into their shares around May 17

I don't need to tell you that Happy Hour is definately in full swing on Saturday Nights by now.
This is also the month you'll start to notice the effects of the "Fire Island Full Moon"
You'll learn the meaning of "Pizza, Cab (Water Taxi), Home"
You'll also learn the meaning of "LOCK YOUR BICYCLE!"
Friday Night at Flynns' is still pretty cool (Well, it is!)
If you start coming out on Thursday Nights (and we know you will...) don't miss "Margarita Madness" at Matthews. (Consider this little plug a plea for them to make sure they continue this most honored tradition!)

Check out the Kiddie Parade in Ocean Beach. It's really cute and they give out prizes!
It gets really hot at night, go out with you hair wet.

37th Annual Miss Fire Island Contest September 11, 2004 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Go out to dinner without waiting on line
Go to the movies in Ocean Beach
Get everything on sale in the stores
Ride your bicycle into Ocean Beach (Yes, you can ride all the way into town!)
Make a fire
Bring those warm clothes back out
We're sorry, It is just toooo cold for the beach
Also, sometime during the end of September or Mid-October, there is the "Christmas Party" down in Cherry Grove.
Go Home.
